UK rapper made this album back in 2007 (hence the “Lost Tape” monicker) and is being released now as a prelude to his new album out later this year. (It’s also available for free download too)
Although it was made 2 to 3 years ago, it still sounds fresh. The rapping is precise and clean, with Pounds “hard” tones rapping about the struggles of life in London. And it’s probably the “hustle to survive” attitude that makes it sound current.
This is probably one of the best UK rappers I’ve heard in a while. Whilst the rap is pretty consistent throughout, with plenty of collaborations (Young A, Yasine, cargo, etc.) the soundtracks are fresh and raw sounding and varied.
