UK Bass music pioneer, Foamo will be back in Ibiza this summer, picking up his residency for We Love…Chew The Fat at SPACE!:

JUNE 24TH
JULY 15TH
AUGUST 9TH
SEPTEMBER 9TH

He’s also got a new EP coming out, which judging by the sampler (see below) will be awesome. It’s already ripping up dancefloors and getting support from DJs. Out on 9th April on Fat! Records.

Whilst I’m not a fan of the original version of Malibu State’s “Get Me Down”, there is a nice little Oh Man Remix which deserves a mention.

The original is very minimal house and most of the other remixes reflect that, but the Oh Man remix, whilst itself is not upfront, has a great beat and some subtle bass tweaks.

Out on 21st November on Fat! Records.

“Celestial”, the latest track from Foamo (out on 20th June on Fat!) is a tasty progressive house track with a great underlying bassline and worth checking out. But, also check out Foamo’s Celestial Mix (which is available for download via Soundcloud) which is a treat of bass heavy tracks, grungy chords and more progressive house.

Dutch DJ and producer, Kevin van Veelan aka Dem Slackers will be releasing his “Million Dollars” track on Monday 28th February on Fat! Records. “Million Dollars” is a very vocal driven house track with a Daft Punk feel to it, whilst the B-side track Sihauldair is a little harder (perhaps Daft Punk meets Fake Blood or Count & Sinden).

You can catch both tracks as part of his “Million Dollar Mix” available for download on Soundcloud

The very nice people at Fat! Records have made Bare Noise’s tasty slice of dubstep “Nocturnal VIP” available for free download.

If you’re a dubstep fan, particularly in the Borgore style then you’ll love this track. It starts of full of beeps and tweeks and then kicks into a grimey dubstep rhythm. I like alot! Thanks Fat!

Bare Noise (aka Ollie Pile and Daniel Brown) are an dubstep act to look out for (they’ve got their debut EP coming out soon). Whilst they’ve not released much of their own material in 2010, they have been busy remixing the likes of M’Black, Skrein and Skrillex and working with Foreign Beggars.
